Why This Practice Is Different

Finding a therapist should not be the hardest part.

You work up the nerve to reach out. You leave three voicemails. Nobody calls back, and the moment passes. That is how most people give up on getting help, and it is exactly what this practice was built to fix.

1

Your questions get answered

Call or text 864-865-8065 and Jeanna's virtual assistant can answer what a session costs, where the office is, and how this practice works, whenever you think to ask.

2

Book in about a minute

Pick a time that works and confirm it online, without a phone call, a form to mail back, or an insurance approval to wait on.

3

Get in quickly

This is a solo practice by appointment only, which keeps the schedule flexible enough to see new clients within days rather than weeks. Meet Jeanna.

You do not have to be in crisis to know something needs to change.

The people who sit across from Jeanna are capable, accomplished, and quietly worn out. Sound familiar?

The argument on repeat

You and your partner have the same fight in different clothes, again and again. You are not enemies. You are two people who lost the thread and need help finding it before the distance becomes the marriage.

Couples therapy

The success that feels hollow

The career is solid. The house is fine. Everyone thinks you are doing great, and by every visible measure you are. So why does the drive home feel so heavy? You do the work in your job. This is where you do the work on you.

Therapy for professionals

The season that changed everything

A loss. A divorce. Retirement. Menopause. Caring for a parent while raising a family. Life transitions have a way of arriving all at once. Making peace with what was is the first step toward building what comes next.

Life transitions
The Question Nobody Asks Out Loud

Who else sees your therapy records? Here, the answer is simple: no insurance company. Ever.

When therapy is billed through insurance, a mental health diagnosis becomes part of your record with a third party. For physicians, attorneys, business owners, and licensed professionals, that can carry real weight for careers, licensure, and peace of mind.

Because I do not file insurance, no insurance company receives your diagnosis, your notes, or any record of your sessions.

Straightforward rates

Sessions are 60 minutes. $125 for individuals, $140 for couples and families, and $175 for a ninety minute session. No surprise bills, no denied claims, no pre-authorization.

A superbill if you want one

Prefer to seek reimbursement? A superbill is a detailed receipt with the codes your insurer needs, and you decide whether to file it. The choice stays entirely in your hands.

Care decisions made in the room

No insurance company deciding how many sessions you need or which approach is covered. We decide together, based on what actually helps you.

About Jeanna

Thirteen years in Greer. Not because it was easy. Because this is home.

When I opened my practice in 2013, Greer had two therapists. I was one of them. Thirteen years later I still do this work the same way: one client at a time, in a room where what you say stays between us. I am a Converse College graduate, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, and a Greer resident for more than three decades. I have been married more than 35 years and raised three daughters, so when we talk about relationships, family, and the seasons of a woman's life, I am not speaking from a textbook.

Questions people ask

The straight answers, before you ever pick up the phone.

Do you take insurance?

No, and that is by design. When therapy is billed through insurance, your diagnosis and treatment become part of a record held by a third party. Working private pay means your care stays between us. If you would like to seek out of network reimbursement, a superbill is available for you to file on your own.

How much does a session cost?

Sessions are 60 minutes. Individual sessions are $125. Couples and family sessions are $140. Ninety minute sessions are available for $175, and you choose 60 or 90 minutes when you book. You will never receive a surprise bill or a denied claim, because there is no claim.

How quickly can I get an appointment?

Often within days rather than weeks. The calendar is open whenever it occurs to you, at midnight or on a lunch break, or you can call or text 864-865-8065 with a question.

How often will I need to come in?

That depends on you, and you are not locked into anything. Some of my clients come every four to six weeks. We recap, work through obstacles, and set goals. I can offer additional resources that can further guide you in between sessions.

Where is your office?

917 West Poinsett Street in downtown Greer, between the clock and the post office, near the library. There is discreet, convenient parking behind the building, away from the street.

Do you offer online therapy?

Yes. Individual, couples, and family sessions are all available by telehealth video anywhere in South Carolina, or in person at the Greer office.

Do you work with men?

Absolutely. I have been seeing male clients from the start, and many find it useful to get not only a professional perspective, but also a woman's perspective on what they are working through.

Do you see teenagers?

Yes. Jeanna works with clients from adolescence and up, as well as couples and families. A parent or guardian arranges the appointment, and Jeanna reaches out before that first session so you can talk everything through together.

What forms of payment do you accept?

Check, card, cash, or HSA, due at the time of your session. Payment is private pay only; this practice does not file insurance.

What is a superbill?

A superbill is a detailed receipt that includes the diagnostic and service codes your insurance company needs for an out of network claim. You submit it directly if you choose to. Whether to involve your insurer is always your decision.

One Appointment. One Hour. Yours.

It would be an honor to help you create the life you deserve.

You have carried this long enough on your own. Pick a time that works, and take the first step today.
